"Ladies of New York and Hollywood" - drawings by Inger Lønmo
Norwegian artist Inger Lønmo exhibits her newest 3-D drawings November 17 – 30 at Jadite Galleries.
Inger Lønmo, a Norwegian artist whose illustrations have appeared in such diverse outlets as an invitation to a gala by the American Scandinavian Foundation and on a program cover for Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, will exhibit her newest 3-D drawings at Jadite Galleries. Resident of New York, Ms. Lønmo’s work, which was exhibited in New York last spring at the Montserrat Gallery, encompasses paintings and drawings including a variety of fabrics, sequins, feathers and other material. She recently returned from Norway, where her drawings and watercolors were exhibited at the Bentegarden gallery, Monet’s Have and other spaces over the past summer.The artist was for many years a successful fashion model, and her drawings reflect a world of elegant and whimsical ladies of New York and Hollywood. Her other works, including her commercial art, have included watercolor landscapes and oil seascapes of Norway and seasonal holiday scenes.
