Kings of Convenience's U.S. Tour

The Kings of Convenience are excited about their U.S. tour starting on February 1. The Norwegian duo, consisting of Eirik Glambek Bøe and Erlend Øye, will spend two months overseas.

A series of concerts in the U.S. are on the schedule, including two in Canada.

Kings of Convenience are original in their way of preparing for concerts. They do not practice music; instead they chew vitamins to stay healthy.

"In fact we never practice," says Eirik Glambek Bøe to the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten. "We never have."

Practice is what they do when they perform on stage. The little time they have in between traveling and performing, the duo needs for composing.

Kings of Convenience has released two CDs that have been sold in 400.000 copies all over Europe. Now they take a brave step overseas to explore 25 concerthalls where people are waiting to hear melancholic og acoustic rock.

The band starts off in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, February 1.
