The Norwegian jazz band Motif performed at the Damascus Citadel Wednesday July 8 as a part of the annual festival Jazz Lives in Syria. The concert was a great success and Motif impressed the audience with its understanding of jazz music and improvisation. Read more >

The Norwegian jazz pianist Bugge Wesseltoft, who visited Syria for the first time, gave a concert in the Damascus Opera House on 12 May. The concert, which was almost fully booked and attracted curious spectators of all ages, was a great success.
